About the 2000 Beano Book
With the new millennium came a new look for the The Beano Book, with the 2000 edition featuring a bold purple colour to blast Beano into the 21st Century.
Biffo the Bear was enjoying a run of comics which had no dialogue at this time. Although Bea, Dennis’s little sister, first appeared in the comic in 1998, the year 2000 is her first appearance in a Beano annual. This classic book harks back to a time before the Millenium Dome was known as the O2.
