What do you call the fanciest punctuation? An a-posh-trophe

That’s the winning joke by Stratus Class at Riverley Primary School in London who are officially Britain’s Funniest Class 2025.

Winning with 38% of the public vote their teacher Ms. Maisha Mahfuza has also been crowned Britain’s Funniest Teacher.

Now in its seventh year, Britain’s Funniest Class is our annual school search that thousands of children across the country participate in. 

An initiative we’re incredibly proud of, it aims to boost confidence and wellbeing. 

Supported by the children’s mental health charity Place2Be, we create free, fun-filled, and curriculum-based classroom resources each year that spread laughter and creativity to build resilience and improve mental wellbeing.

We've all heard that laughter is the best medicine. It's a largely underestimated and often overlooked force for good. 

Kids who enjoy a good laugh are more confident, creative and resilient. They're simply happier.
