Six Ages of Dennis Figurine Set: the noughties
TerrorVision - from the Six Ages of Dennis, produced by Robert Harrop Designs.
Dennis the Menace celebrated 60 years of mischief and mayhem in 2011. To mark this momentous occasion we bring you the "Six Ages of Dennis", a set of six figurines produced by Robert Harrop Designs.
There is an exclusive figurine for each decade and each one is a Time Limited edition, released every two months throughout 2011. The figurines show how Dennis has evolved through the decades and the different styles from each Dennis artist.
Dennis flirted with television in 1996 with a series on the BBC, but it wasn't until the late 2000's that his TV Career really propelled him into the spotlight and the next age began...
Nigel Parkinson was again one of the artists enlisted to help with the creation when work began on a new Dennis and Gnasher animated TV series in 2007.
With some tweaks in style, Dennis and Gnasher first aired on the BBC in September, 2009, and was a ratings winner with a new generation of Dennis the Menace fans. As with the comic version, the television series features Dennis' Mum and Dad, his baby sister Bea, his chums Curly and Pie-Face, and not to mention his arch-enemy Walter, set in the wacky world of 'Beanotown'.
This time limited edition piece comes complete in a presentation box with a certificate of authenticity, signed by Robert Harrop. Individually hand numbered on the base. Size approx. 5 inches (185mm) tall.
